Overview
Learn Georgian Language ("the App") is developed and operated by Menelabs. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Information We Collect
Data stored locally on your device
All learning data — your lesson progress, spaced repetition card scores, achievements, game scores, and settings — is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Advertising data (Google AdMob)
The free version of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to serve relevant ads. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your device's ad settings.
Purchasing the "Remove Ads" upgrade disables all advertising and the associated data collection by AdMob.
In-app purchases (Google Play Billing)
If you purchase the one-time "Remove Ads" upgrade, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. We receive only a confirmation of the purchase — no payment details or billing information are stored by us.
Permissions
The App requests the following Android permissions:
- INTERNET Required to load advertisements (free version) and to verify in-app purchases.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS Used to send optional daily study reminders. You can disable these at any time in the App's Settings.
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED Allows study reminder notifications to be re-scheduled if your device restarts.
- SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM Ensures study reminder notifications arrive at the time you selected.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. The only data sharing that occurs is with Google (AdMob for advertising and Google Play for purchase verification), as described above.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Data Retention and Deletion
Since all learning data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the App. This permanently removes all progress, scores, and settings stored by the App.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
